I have moved 5 times in 9 years, securely packing most breakables myself. I have never had any broken items. This is not the case with this move. When AJ and his crew of 2 arrived for pickup, for move from Tennessee to California, they wrapped the furniture and loaded everything in a 26ft U-Haul. He commented on how well I had everything boxed up and ready to go. He said he and his 2 guys would be delivering and unloading my items in California. This was a lie. When I arrived in ‘Alexander’ called confirming address. From the paperwork, he repeated my delivery address twice and said if I wanted my belongings delivered, I better text him my address. Took me a few weeks to unpack and get settled but I am missing quite a few things including a table (I knew this right away) and a couple of boxes. They were very rough with my furniture and broke a treasured hutch that my grandfather built about 60 years ago. When they show up they put your belongings in a U-Haul and then store them in a warehouse (I assume) until they are eventually loaded into a semi and delivered. I didn’t know this going in, I should have asked, but moving things this many times, I’m not surprised more wasn’t damaged or missing. Just a couple of photos as an example. Save yourself the headache and hire a nationally recognized company when moving long distance.

Very poor long distance move. It took 29 days to finally receive my furnishings. The price shot up the day of loading and then most of my boxes are very smashed, furniture was dented and an antique table was broken. I would not use this company for long distance moves.

We were told the packers were to show up between 11am and 1 pm the first day of our move. They called after about 2 hours being late saying their diesel truck froze up. They ended up showing up around 7 pm! The boss man, Mike said they would work for 2 hours that night for free. The movers were from Venezuela so there was a language barrier. Recently moved from Omaha to Lexington and needed help with loading, transport, and unloading since many more local companies wouldn't handle such a long distance move. This company was the highest rated that was available for our timeline. They were extremely helpful up until the point that our deposit was put down and date "secured". After that, there was no communication. We had to reach out several times before our date to confirm anything. They made us walk through our items multiple times (each time takes over an hour) and then tried to increase our estimate by several thousand dollars even though nothing had changed from the first time.
