I’ve used Total Restoration for multiple jobs small and large over the last few years. I keep going back to them because of their service level, work product and relatively good pricing. Smaller jobs at my properties included multiple remediations and restorations after water damage, and they are currently wrapping a large $375K contract for me to install about 20 new kitchens and baths in an apartment renovation project. I’m writing this review so homeowners know what they may be dealing with. After a major leak damaged our townhouse, Total Restoration Services was assigned to handle the repair work. Unfortunately, the experience has been full of delays, miscommunication, and broken promises. They left our downstairs bathroom in a messy, damaged state, and even though Brittany specifically told us it would be taken care of, we were later told that we were responsible for fixing the issues they left behind. That was frustrating, but it wasn’t the worst part. We later discovered crumbling drywall inside our upstairs HVAC air-handler closet, directly on the wall where the leak occurred. I was so lucky to find Chris and his company Total Restoration. They were very responsive to my phone calls, came out to see the mold problem and explained in detail how they could fix the issue. It required remediating mold, which was hidden under my cabinet frames, rebuilding the frames and literally putting my kitchen back together again. Once they were finished my kitchen looked as good as it was originally, including the quartz counters and cabinets! I can’t be more happy with how fast and careful they completed my entire kitchen repair, including remediating hard to reach mold. Their price was very fair, as my insurance would not cover the issue.
