What makes Townsend a 5-star business for me is that they take accountability for any mistakes on their end. They also deliver oil at a reasonable price. And the customer service is prompt and professional. But when a tech came out and did a “tune up,” which actually caused a new problem, Townsend didn’t charge me when another guy came out and fixed it. I had to be pretty assertive in my communication, but again, I want to credit Townsend for owning that issue and not double-charging us. Thank you.

Scott Beckman realized I was not set up for auto-delivery, he set me up and saved me $1.25 per gallon my delivery - got me down from $4.44 to $3.19 per gallon - I didn't even ask for this, but he recognized that someone prior had failed to set me up correctly. I am very thankful for Scott Beckman this holiday season! I run a Porsche service department, so I understand that providing an exceptional customer experience makes or breaks a customer's loyalty - I greatly appreciate Scott's time and efforts helping me out this morning. New to oil heat living after 30 years of gas in the city, Townsend has been great in my first few months in Beverly from setting up an account to what I thought was an emergency situation last night. I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Scott. After multiple individuals at Townsend not following through with promises to send me a contract and come by my home to refill my propane Scott showed empathy with my frustration, understood why I was worried during the middle of winter and jumped right on getting me on the propane delivery schedule. Scott then followed up with me over the phone when he didn't need to providing me with an update on expected delivery times. Townsend is lucky to have Scott dealing with their customers and if it wasn't for him I would have ran out of propane in the middle of winter. Thank you Scott!

I can’t recommend Jason and the HVAC installation team enough. They replaced my HVAC system in June of this year in and it ran smoothly all summer. The team was very professional, communicative, and tidy and was able to replace my system in a tricky attic space. When my a water sensor went off on a Friday evening this summer, Jason made the trip to help investigate the issue after hours to ensure everything was working properly. I will definitely use Townsend again!
