Trading Post Moving & Storage

On 19 February 2026, I received an email stating: “We are scheduled to begin packing on 03/03/2026 and will load 03/05/2026.” Shortly thereafter, I spoke with a company representative (believed to be Lisa) and informed her that the estimated 17,000 lbs was significantly inaccurate and that the shipment was closer to approximately 300 lbs, not requiring multiple packing or loading days. She agreed, and we verbally adjusted the schedule. However, I never received a confirmation email or any written follow-up reflecting this change. The movers were on time and very organized. They were careful with the breakable stuff. We had a multiple day move, so they left our bedroom intact at the end of the first day. This gave us a place to sleep. They did many little things that made a big difference.

Trading Post just moved my sister from one apartment to another. She is elderly and very particular about her possessions! Where to begin. First, they moved my furniture to my house, did not unpack anything, even though they were paid to unpack and set everything up as well. Their excuse was they forgot their tools and they'd come back later that day. They never came back. I called the number they provided, was sent to voice mail, texted with a "who this?" and ignored for the rest of the day. Called the next day, told their supervisor, told them to bring a power drill for setting up the legs on the couches. Was told they would come with all tools to set up the furniture. 20 minutes later the movers called and complained to me about having to drive over and set up the furniture.
