Treasure Valley Custom Cabinets

The quality of cabinets put into the new build we bought are so awful. Tristan was very nice and said the builder put a rush order on the cabinets but if they couldn’t get halfway decent cabinets out because that’s your reputation and business you’d think they’d say no can do. Regardless of other trades coming in, the cabinets shouldn’t have this much wear so quickly. Builder told us we’re SOL because they have come out to the house twice but the fixes do not look good. Unfortunate situation all around from the builder but also that they would agree to put this quality out there. We are absolutely delighted with the work performed by Treasure Valley Custom Cabinets! We had a custom-made table with exotic thin wood that was starting to lift. TVCC expertly repaired the wood, applied an epoxy and ceramic coating, and restored the table to its gorgeous original state. They performed the work in the time specified at a very reasonable price. Stay away from this company. Unprepared and unprofessional. Unprepared - Tristan showed up to provide a quote when they did not have capacity to do the job. Unprofessional - Tristan was supposed to come out for a scheduled quote on Saturday at 11am. At 11:10, I called and he said he had a work emergency, even though I could hear kids in the background. We rescheduled for Tuesday at 3pm and I called to confirm and I received an auto text stating that they were out sick. You would be better off using another company. I try not to leave negative reviews, but two no-shows was too many for me to ignore.

It really makes me sad to post this review because I think the work they have done has been good, and I genuinely liked the owner. However, I can't give them any better than one star based our experience. Long story short, they haven't finished our job. They don't dispute this, they have just been 'too busy' and each time they said they were going to come out, they've been a no-show. It's been months and we don't have the job we hired them to do. If they could get their act together and follow through on their promises, I would be able to recommend them based on the quality of their work, but quality isn't enough when they don't finish and ghost you.

I work with Shane and Trystan regularly and they always go above and beyond what I need from them . It works out really good for me being a small cabinet shop. I use their CNC service and their turnaround time is usually within two weeks.
