If you order a cord of firewood here, be aware that you will likely receive closer to half a cord, not a full cord. A true cord of firewood is 128 cubic feet. This business claims their cord measurement is based on a stack 16′ long × 4′ high × 2′ deep, which does equal 128 cubic feet — but only if the logs are 24 inches long. The logs they actually deliver average about 16 inches, which is normal and often preferred for most wood stoves. Adjusting for the shorter log length, a standard “cord” stack ends up being 16′ × 4′ × 16″ ≈ 85.3 cubic feet, or roughly 2/3 of a cord. My original stack was even smaller: it measured 66″ tall × 104″ long × 16″ deep, which comes out to about 64 cubic feet, or roughly half of a full cord. Extremely happy with my experience with Tri-City Materials LLC. I stopped by to get a good look at the rock for our project and set up an appointment that day for delivery. The employees were very patient with me as I changed my delivery date three times. The Day of delivery went smoothly; Jamie was so professional, kind, and took payment over the phone. I was not home when the rocks came, but were neatly piled on my driveway during the window provided. I would highly recommended this company for anyone doing any landscaping project big or small!

Wow! My delivery looks nothing like the others I see here. My first load was light and my second was full of clay. I've attached pictures, so you can decide if I'm on track or way off base. You can make up your own mind. I would be careful before ordering from them. I wrote a longer review on Yelp, justifying the 2 star rating instead of 1. UPDATE 14AUG2023 I contacted the company as requested. I said that the Load Master should have caught the heavy clay issue, especially since it would have likely required multiple buckets. I was told that the stone on rare occasions is not sufficiently cleaned before leaving the sourcing rock yard. After a bust at Carters Corner I ended up at Tri-City Materials LLC and was amazed by the product and service! Additionally for all my fellow veterans, military discount available and NOT just one day a week like Carters Corner. Highly recommend and worth driving few extra miles.

Good for mulch, friendly service but some ot the dirtiest firewood you will find and incredibly hard to burn. I pair two pieces of their firewood with 4 from food lion in order to get a good fire in a solo stove. 2 years later and I have 2 pieces of wood after this to burn off. Their stuff is absolute garbage
