Tri-State Building Specialties

Initially (pre-sale) my contact with Tri-State went well. During the design and contract process I found mistakes that were rectified when I pointed them out (read/review carefully). The installation went okay. Until it rained and the wall of windows they installed started leaking. I tried getting them back there to no avail. Luckily my cousin (master carpenter) and I have a background in construction. We were able to diagnose and repair the faulty/missing caulk. Then within a year of installation the window seals on all the windows failed. That left me with a wall of foggy and stained glass. Their representative even confirmed that the window seals weren't manufactured properly and they have a better way of doing it now. They promised to make the repairs. They never returned. I would highly recommend Tri- State Building Specialties. The room they built is our favorite room in the house. Quality is superior to other sunroom’s that I have seen in the area. From the sales presentation to the project management, everything was done to our expectations. One year after completion we experienced a warranty issue with the roof, but it was addressed and improved on. Dom followed up to ensure we were satisfied as well. Very professional and thorough. Still our favorite room in the house. We will continue to be a reference.

Best investment I ever made! Tri-State: nice people. Good product. Fair price. Excellent workmanship. And Dom helped make the process of gaining Lakewood zoning board approval a non-issue. This 4 seasons room made our Covid quarantine bearable. I worked out there in my shorts during the day. I watched the bird feeder attracted all kinds of wildlife. And I enjoyed watching winter turn to spring, turn to summer. We were able to sit on the futon (extra sleeping for over flow guests) and read. And now that it’s warm out, I’ve only once felt the desire to turn on the AC. Most of the time we enjoy the air flow through the open windows. Turn on the fan. And even sometimes open the skylight to act as a vent. Also... My 2 cats give their seal of approval. They each LOVE sitting at their respect

Thrilled with the Sunroom & Deck built by Tri-State. Had several non-standard requests which Dom worked very hard to accommodate successfully. Very concerned about making the customer happy. Cannot say enough about John who built the room & deck. Excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Just recently finished so am just beginning to furnish and enjoy. Both the sunroom & deck are beautiful.

We enjoyed the sunroom so much that it’s definitely the most used room in the house!! Tri-State had been very professional in helping me get the permits and variance. The construction was fast and smooth. I’d definitely recommend them.
