Ever since we moved into our home, we have been working towards renovating our kitchen but with both of us being small business owners, we knew we needed the extra support to make it happen. Plus, in order to optimize the space, we also knew we needed to partner with a group that has a design-first mentality. Plain View Design + Build not only met that criteria but exceeded our expectations! From beginning to end, they guided us through the process with expert advice custom to our family's needs. They helped us pick out all of the finishes and introduced us to high quality cabinets (that also fit our budget) that we'll enjoy for many years to come. When we decided to build a house, we wanted it to be everything we ever wished we had, and include all the things over the years that we loved about our other houses. Things like a south facing driveway, large open living spaces, a modern aesthetic, phenomenal views, an art studio, and outdoor spots to enjoy North Dakota's summers. The process we went through with Plain View Designs was so creative and fun. They got to know us and really spent time being thoughtful about the design. They took into consideration the build site and how we could maximize the views and sun, but minimize wind. They even helped us plan out a place to hide our garbage cans. We wanted simple yet dreamy and that's exactly what we got. They are absolute artists when it comes to modern design.

We had Plain View complete our kitchen / dining room / living room remodel. They did a fantastic job every step of the way. The design was laid out well - we had a lot of collaboration in this area and they were able to take our vision and make it come to life! The project went really quickly and we felt like progress was made every time someone was at our house. The site was always left very clean as well. Communication was always honest, open, and professional. We felt comfortable asking questions about budget details or if something didn’t look quite right during construction. They always responded in a timely matter with expertise. My husband and I are both engineers so we are very detail oriented and picky. Plain View met and exceeded our expectations!!
