Chad Blake was amazing ! He took the time to literally explain the salient features of the solution they are spraying. And how he will use a half trigger to get spots where it wasn’t sprayed to kill weeds. He spent his time out of his busy schedule to make me a satisfied customer ! I have had issues with TruGreen and I have learnt to keep an eye on the services because all techs who come to spray the lawn are not through. You have to weed them out and work with the ones that are true professionals and work hard. TruGreen needs to spend time training their employees better and give them a body cam to make sure they are not checking the 30 houses and doing a half way job and leaving without spraying the corners and edges. I am not just disappointed — I am genuinely concerned about what I observed today. The technician’s truck stopped at 12:48 PM and he was back in his vehicle by 12:50 PM. The entire visit lasted just over two minutes. I reviewed my Ring footage afterward. The technician initially walked toward the backyard but immediately turned around and came back to ring the doorbell. After that, he barely sprayed the yard. He treated only the perimeter of one side, then moved to another side and sprayed just the very beginning of that section before packing up his hose and leaving. The vast majority of my yard was not treated. This did not look like incomplete service — it looked like the appearance of service without actually performing it. That is deeply troubling. AVOID these guys. All they do is spray normal stuff. You can buy same stuff at Home depot for $20 to last 6-8 weeks. They have no expertise when things go wrong. I escalated for 8 weeks continuously before a Manager showed up. He said the grass is gone due to "other reasons". And for last 16 months I was paying them regularly to take care of my lawn. True Green is excellent. Their workers really take care of our lawn. They are really polite and always let us know when and what time they will be at our house.

This company is too big and too centralized which hinders providing any reasonable customer service. The local salesperson gets you signed up and then hands off you are in the black hole of corporate lawn care. This is the worst organization for the customer who had to then deal with a toll free number that goes to someone in Texas and who has just a script to read from. I am a current and previous customer. This year I requested treatment of annual weed grass that still persists. I had to result to pulling the weeds BY HAND. According to the work receipts the technician only sprayed a few oz at most for the entire lawn! It is worst than government or a strip mall dentist. It’s like pulling teeth to get someone to understand your needs and get things going. It is by no means excel
