TruGreen Lawn Care

A year ago I paid TruGreen in advance for the entire year to ensure a fair chance at maintaining my pretty nice lawn. August 29 2025 I called to notify them we had a serious problem, likely either chinch bugs or brownspot. I was promised someone would come to diagnose and take appropriate steps the following Tuesday or Wednesday. A month later no one had ever come or called. That began six months of back-and-forth during which TruGreen did absolutely nothing to rectify the problem, but unleashed a cadre of Customer (No)Care representatives so assure me they were sorry, would feel the same as I in my situation, and what an important customer I am. I think the service is worth the price and the weeds are controlled. Our complaint is that several times they have sprayed at the neighbor's house. Neighbor stated he has gone out on occasion and told them they were at wrong house. Always ensure a flag is left on lawn before paying bill.

I had a fantastic experience with TRUGreen thanks to their lawn specialist, Danny. He delivered top-notch customer service from start to finish. Danny did an excellent job aerating my lawn — thorough, efficient, and professional throughout the entire process. What really stood out was the knowledge he shared with me about the next steps to help my lawn thrive. He took the time to explain what I should be doing seasonally and gave tailored recommendations specific to my yard’s condition. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the results and his customers. I highly recommend Danny to anyone looking for quality lawn care and outstanding service.

Since having Trugreen service our lawn, it has thrived, and we are much happier with the way it looks. It’s more lush, thick, and the weeds are down to a minimum. They show up as scheduled and get the work done. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Stay away from this company. They’re the absolute worst. Three months ago our lawn was healthy and green. After three months with their service it is overrun with weeds and most of our lawn is now dead. I have called in multiple times to get technicians out to the property to look at what’s happening and no one shows up. Every time I call back and they claim to have no record of my prior calls in their system. Even after elevating the call, I was told I would get a call from my local Tallahassee office within two days and once again no response. Oddly enough, they never have any issue when it comes to processing our monthly payment.
