TruGreen Lawn Care

Recently signed up after having used Trugreen twice in years passed. Trugreen quoted me $104.44 per 8 applications with half off first application. First Bill they charged me $147.00. I call them and spend an hour on the phone with a rep who would only drop the per application price to $110 and refund me $72 of the $92 they overcharged me. They absolutely refused to honor my original quote stating they had given me all the deductions they could and instead opted to cancel my service, lose a repeat customer, and refund me my first payment.

My yard was a mess at the beginning of the year with lots of weeds and bare spots. Through out the summer my technician has communicated very well and gave me some suggestions on what I can do to help my yard. Together we much improved on how my lawn looks. My technician truly cares and wants my lawn to look as beautiful as I want it to look. Great guy to have on my team!

Edit: the local manager has since reached out. They came back with the plain fertilizer I requested (no weed killer) and credited me back some funds to help cover seed costs. The brown spots were apparently Bahia grass. Manager was good to deal with. I would just caution you to be in regular contact with them to make sure you don’t get to my position. Original: Did a one year deal upfront. Tried to save a little money. Now my yard is a total redo some 9 months in… apparently my yard was mostly weeds. Not sure why it took 9 months to ruin but this is a disaster. Their solution for me was reseed the yard. I could’ve done that without them 🫣 To be fair, one area of my yard looks good. If you have great grass to start, they’d probably be fine.

I have had a great experience with TruGreen. All my specialists that I have spoken with have been friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful. Keep up the excellent customer service. Also, my lawn is looking better.

Jaddarius, my technician, was very professional and friendly! He explained what my lawn needed and applied the appropriate treatment in a timely and efficient manner! He assured me that my lawn will start looking better soon! Jaddarius was great!
