TruGreen Lawn Care

True green destroyed our beautiful fescue yard by aerating the first week of august after three days of rain and left mud and yard all over our walk ways. Be Aware!! We used them for all our lawn care for about 6 months - they called and sold us on fall - FALL aerating and over seeding but we had to pay up front to ‘secure a slot’. They showed up a week later and did this. It was a perfect beautiful summer yard. We instantly cancelled them for all services and since they refused to credit us for the destruction - we called our bank and disputed the charge. Do not use this company.

Update as of 7/22/25: On a positive note, there is a senior manager Craig who is trying to correct this situation. He had a landscaper come out to measure the front yard for sod on 7/8/25. Craig has said that he has authorized the expense to install the sod. On the negative side, TruGreen appears to use a single landscaper who is not very communicative. This landscaper is either too busy with his current workload or does not feel the need to communicate with TruGreen. The result is that neither TruGreen or myself have any idea of when he will return to my property to prepare the yard and finally install the new sod. 0 STARS. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any lawn service. In July 2025, I contacted TruGreen ONLY for a free consultation. Instead of providing a consultation as promised, they trespassed onto my property without permission and proceeded to spray chemicals all over my yard and shrubs. They did this without my authorization, without my approval, and without my knowledge until after it was done. Then they had the nerve to send me a bill for a service I never agreed to. It gets worse. When I called originally, they requested my credit card “just to keep on file” and assured me I would not be charged unless I approved services. That was a lie. They attempted to bill me multiple times for this unauthorized service, and for months they kept mailing me invoices. Because o

TruGreen has been servicing my lawn for years. In the spring, the grass started dying. I've brought this to tru greens attention and was told it would be addressed . My question to Trugreen was if I have consistent service why didn't the service individual note the dying grass? I'm still waiting on a fix.

Today's service was very good. The leaves on my japanesse maples started browning after the tree service last month. The japanesse maple in front of the one in the picture died last year after being treated.
