Tub Docteur

Hired them to resurface the tub in a home I rented in Westlake 2 years ago. They arrived on time, politely answered any and all questions I had, and completed the job quickly and professionally. I was more than impressed with the service and finished product.

We bought a house built in 1958 and the tub was pink and had sliding glass doors on tracks. I hired tub docteur to remove the doors and rails and resurface the cast iron tub and surrounding tiles. When they finished i was in love it looked great, or so i thiught. Upon closer inspection they missed several spots behind the towel rod and under the soap holder and there were runs and drips in several spots also noticed they didnt even remove any of the old caulking. Then 2 weeks later it started to peel. There were holes in the grout lines which caused the paint to flake off the tiles. I called them and they were very nice about coming back to make the needed repairs but when they left i noticed that all was done was a spot spray, its very evident that it was just a quick burst of paint leavi

-back story- we have a 1 bathroom home and we recently redid the whole bathroom: paint, tiling, fixtures, vanities, the whole nine yards. My wife suggested that we call somebody to refinish the bath tub too, and I was skeptical because I thought that it was a waste of money. -fast forward- Tub Docteur's just left my house and the tub looks amazing! I would have never imagined how well this turned out. Not only did my wife prove me wrong that it was not a waste of money, but I'm telling everyone I know that they need to call up the Tub Docteur's to refinish their tub too!

If I could give negative stars I would! Steve was probably the most pompous man I have ever met. His company did an absolutely horrid job and refuses to give a refund. If I could post photos on here I would. They came out 2 times to fix their mistakes (could still see the orange of the counter top) and finally on the last visit he (Steve) came to see the problem, saw the issue, acknowledged the issue and told us "Well, rip the counters out and I'll pro-rate you." He left telling us he can't satisfy us and that he's not going to argue. Long story short, never do business with this person. He told us he would work with us until it was right and that was a flat out lie. DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR BUSINESS!
