Tuxis Ohrs Fuel

I have been getting oil from Tuxis for about 3 years now. Oil deliveries are great, servicing my furnace is great. What i am not happy about is i gave my credit card number to your office to have processed right away. And they refuse to do so, they insist on waiting 10 business days !!!!! I gave my credit card number NOT FOR THEM TO WAIT 10 BUSINESS DAYS.

We were almost killed by an OHR oil truck on Hatchets Hill in Old Lyme Speed limit is 20 truck was going at least 40 and on my side of the road. Very Reckless, It was Sunday, 12/28/25 at 130 pm . If this business gives a shit about safety they will address this shameful and dangerous behavior. Pat Holland No response from the owner, shows they don’t care about safety

New customer, I measured my tank ,filled right on the money. I will miss Ernie Owner, Advanced Oil (Independent oil man) 10 Stars. I read all the reviews. It is good the owner of Tuxis Ohrs Fuel reads and response. I change Doctors more than my Oilman. HVAC/R S2 Retired Rack Systems ,Hi Med Low, Roof Top Units and grumpy store managers. will keep you all Posted. ;-)

The company delivered oil to my house by mistake. I’ve never used them before they are not my oil company. When I confronted the delivery driver his response was to stop the pump and go to my neighbors house and pump the remainder. I understand accidents happen, called the company and explained the incident. Two weeks later, I receive a bill in the mail requesting me to pay for the oil they pumped into my house without my permission. I called to resolve the matter and they offered to give me a discount on the bill. A discount for oil I did not ask for. The company made the mistake and wanted me to pay for it. To treat non-customers this way shows money fuels their business instead of values and integrity.

We had been using this company for thirty years and were thrilled with them until the owner passed away and eventually the company was sold. Not sure when the new owners took over but this is not the honest family owned business it once was. They came three times in a month. The final time regarded the hot water in the shower and the tech “fixed” the problem only for us to find it was much much worse. Unbearably cold water in both showers now. When I called the office to come back and fix what he made much worse I said I didn’t want to pay another service charge. Clearly the guy made this issue much worse. The person who answered the phone was snippy and unreasonable and refused to work with us at all. We found a wonderful new company with better oil prices and an honest assessment of o
