Two Men and a Truck Moving

I would like to start this review by saying that my actual movers did an excellent job, they were detail oriented, well equipped problem solvers, and moved me quickly and with care. The day I moved the rate was $177 an hour, with a two hour minimum, plus a $177 travel fee, so minimal 531 to move ( I have a one bedroom + couch, not moving a huge place). The total ended up being $708, and when I was asked if I would like to leave a tip, I asked how much the movers actually made, which was 17.50 before taxes. So not only was I paying $700 to move up the street, but only portion of that money is being given to the men who are actually moving. I ended up tipping them each an additional $120, but I was left, feeling upset that these men are doing the hard work and can’t even make a living wage.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Out of 18 pieces of furniture they damaged 5. That's a nearly 1/3 of the total. They then offered me pennies on the dollar to reimburse me. I have filed a BBB complaint but do not expect them to do the right thing. Took an extra hour of smoke breaks to add to the time I had to pay. While they did compensate me for 30 minutes of that time ($90 dollars out of the total 180 extra), my stuff reeked of cigarettes and I had to wash every linen I own. See pictures for damaged items. BUYER BEWARE.

Extremely expensive. 5 hours cost $1600 before tip. Not very efficient. Will not hire again.Took their sweet time at the beginning and then rushed at the end. Lowered my rating to two stars as I keep noticing more and more damage to my furniture. Really disappointing. Would not recommend. The make a big deal of wrapping everything in plastic. Does absolutely nothing. Didn’t wrap my couch well enough so it’s dirty all over the side.

Excellent customer service, with the movers and the call rep. The movers were extremely courteous, fast, and careful with our items. They went above and beyond when they assisted me with putting a few heavy items in my own vehicle. The movers were good with adjusting the invoice to reflect a lower amount than originally based on my request. They actually go and "weigh" your load to properly adjust the price.

We had a great moving experience with Toby and Shaq! They had great communication, they worked efficiently and at a good pace. They made the transition stress free and they had great customer care. Book with Two Men and if possible get this crew!!
