U-Pack

My experience with U-pack relocube was laughably bad. There were were some signs early on I should have noticed that would have made me have made me go a different route altogether. I had a relocube drop off scheduled 12/29 which is the week of NYE, which I get is tight due to the holiday. I was talking with a rep about how best to get an early pickup because I knew we would have it loaded within a day. I wanted potentially a NYE pickup and was suggested to try to aim for Tuesday 12/30 and the reasoning being to the affect "a lot of drivers call in NYE, I mean they are unionized after all.". Not anti union by any stretch but that's a hell of a thing to admit to a customer who is about spend a couple grand with you to move your stuff. So week of came: 12/29: Drop off delayed a day due

Very transparent about pricing and timelines. Although flexible and understanding as moving is very difficult. I have used them before and would use them again. Also, really like the referral for movers and other services to make it more of a full-service experience.

I was very happy with my U-Pack move. They were great at communicating the various steps and updating me on the process. Customer service was very helpful with my questions, and the price was great. Make sure to wrap and package everything well because the truck can be dusty, but that is to be expected. As someone who moves for work often, I would definitely use U-Pack again.

I had a great experience with U-pack, personally. Was easy to make a last minute reservation via phone when my original moving plan fell through, and ended up being cheaper as well. When I called with questions, I was always able to get an answer, and the reps were very nice. The drivers at both locations(from IL to NY) were quick and friendly with dropping off the cubes, and put them exactly where I wanted them. All my items arrived in tact. If packing the cubes yourself, use straps or rope to secure things and make sure stuff won't move around. Would use them again if I need to move long distance again.

They don't care about their customers. Their only (!) forklift was broken and thus they failed to deliver the moving containers I was supposed to receive. They didn't warn me about this in advance so that I could search for alternative solutions. I learnt about the problem only when I called them to schedule the delivery. Moreover, they couldn't even tell me when the repair would be completed. I ended up cancelling my U-Pack reservation and ordered a large container from PODS instead. Thanks to their incompetence and lack of care for the customers, my moving plans were severely disrupted and I lost hundreds of dollars.
