U-Pack

U-Pack’s ReloCube worked well overall for our move from Los Angeles to Raleigh. The cube was sturdy, felt safer/better built than a U-Haul container, and we had no moisture issues in transit. Capacity was impressive for a 1 bed/1 bath worth of furniture (we fit a sleeper sofa, queen bed, desk/chair, multiple shelving units, patio set, plus boxes), but because we packed it to the max we could only use minimal strapping and a few items still got banged up. Use plenty of moving blankets and secure everything aggressively. The biggest downside was logistics: U-Pack couldn’t pick up in our neighborhood due to local restrictions, so we had to hire movers to haul everything to their Pico Rivera service center, which added over $800. We used U-Pack to move from Hollywood, CA to Rochester, NY, in Dec 2023. It was amazing, and relatively, easily the cheapest option. We had a large one bedroom apt to get packed and moved; two desks, a bed, a coffee cart, a kitchen cart, a 8ft sofa, coffee table, a lot of books and bookshelf, clothes, a mountain bike etc. and it all fit in one Relo Cube! I took apart and flat packed a lot of it, to fit more, but still we were shocked by just how much we could fit in one cube. The U-Pack website was a gold mine of useful information, even if you aren't moving with them, take a look! we are still using their moving check list as we come to the end of our move. The interaction with customer service was excellent, they all seemed to be on the same page and i never felt like i didn't know what

My furniture arrived all messed up. I had to get a Uhaul and move my stuff from upack trailer to uhaul truck due to their lack of communication. And of course they declined my claim for damages.

My customer experience with U_Pack was great! Their price was very reasonable when comparing them to other companies that offer similar services. They were up front with their quote...as in no hidden fees or anything else. The delivery and pick up of their containers was more prompt than I expected. My valuables came in one piece for the most part. Any small thing that came messed up had more to do with how I packed my stuff than how it was delivered. I was suspicious at first but took the risk. By the time everything was done I was extremely satisfied with the whole service, from the customer reps to the pickup/delivery drivers. I would definitely use them again.

I had a good experience with U-Pack moving my things from the east coast to LA. The container was dropped off on time as expected, and it was easy for me to load and pack the container. I was able to monitor the container as it crossed the country, and it arrived early at my destination in LA. All of my items arrived safely with no damage and it was easy to unload everything from their facility. Would definitely recommend them if you are moving cross-country.
