U-Pack

I hate the term "game-changer" but that's what this is. Way less expensive than movers and much more flexible, imo. I didn't move my entire house - it was mostly boxes and items from my shed. Initially, I saw the box and thought it was too small but it turned out to be very roomy and I had extra space. The drop off and pick ups were very flexible so I had time to repack boxes, add more stuff, organize as I chose. If you don't mind doing the moving (it was a great workout though I did get help initially to pack), you'll save money and buy yourself a ton of flexibility. The team was very professional and friendly. I had zero issues. Highly recommend.

U-Pack itself was a wonderful experience. The driver in Kansas was very courteous. He took his time to explain the trailer and let me try to get the ramp out and in on my own. The driver in Washington state, was also very courteous when he dropped my trailer off. My belongings were kept in the trailer at their facilities for over a year and I was pretty nervous about what condition my belongings were in. My belongings were in excellent shape, with the exception of damage caused by the company who I hired to pack it. I had excellent experience with their billing department as well. My suggestion if you use them. Spend time researching your packers and do not worry about U-Pack as they will take good care of the trailer.

Cust svc reps r great!! I had to reschedule my move about 4times, and they did so with no probs. One thing I will advise is to ask if the price is the same...I was told that the prices change based on Month, day of week, and season. The process was fairly easy, they drop the trailer off and u load it up. They provide a "wall" type barrier, that u will need ur own locks(2) for. They also put an extra bar across the wall, to help keep thmgs where they belong. When my trailer arrived to my new house, it totally looked like they went off-roading. All my stuff was jumbled up. So when ur packing ur trailer, make sure u use plastic wrap to hold things together..even boxes thT u have taped..mine came untaped and thrown around. Also, pack as high to the ceiling as possible, as long as all ur stuff

Kudos to U-Pack and ABF... with very little lead time, U-Pack was able to provide quality move services. The trailer delivery at "packing up the old house" was on time and hassle-free. The truck pickup flawless. Trailer delivery at "now we are at the new house" was perfect. The hired moving labor was perfect... every bit of our move was hassle-free and perfectly executed with competence and professionalism. This move was free of the stress that typically accompanies important life events like moving. I highly recommend U-Pack and ABF. The cost was right, the service excellent, and the quality high. Tom in Arkansas booking location was especially helpful on the phone. One tip: get a padlock in advance so that your moving trailer will be locked while parked outside your home.

If you are considering a long distance move U-Pack is absolutely the best way to go. From the first time I contacted them through the completion of the move everybody we interacted with were extremely friendly, courteous and professional. Our moving experience could not have been better.
