UMI Stone | The Source (formerly Marva)

Shopping for countertops at UMI is a great experience. The selections of Quartz, which I am using are beautiful. The whole showroom is filled with incredible stone slabs to satisfy any customer’s needs. The most important thing was my customer service representative, Amanda, as she was very knowledgeable on the products and took all the time in the world to help me. She has the experience to understand what I wanted after working with me for a few minutes. Amanda was able to lead me through the process and make it fun! I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to make what can become a very confusing process easy to get through. Of course, UMI, has the materials to satisfy any customer. Great service and great Inventory equals a great experience.

We had a wonderful experience working with Samantha when we visited the showroom to take a look at marble and quartz slabs. She was informative, patient, knowledgeable, and took care of all the details for us so we could have records of our favorites and so that the information could be shared with our fabricator. She even got us samples to take home! Great customer experience overall.

This place is fantastic! I went to so many places looking for help and assistance and from the moment o hot the door this was 5 star service! Amanda Watson was so patient listened to my concerns and needs and problem. Solved all of them. I wish i had come here first would have saved me so much time.

The slabs presented to me by UMI were positioned where I couldn’t touch them on inspection which in hindsight, should have been a red flag. Unfortunately, my fabricator didn’t bring their abnormal condition to my attention when they were sent to them. At that, these were priced as premium slabs. After bringing a piece of the slab back to UMI (after cut and installation) Amanda agreed she had never seen slabs in that condition. The fabricator states they shouldn’t have been sold or used. But alas, they were, and no one is willing to take any responsibility and I’m left with a premium price tag for a more than subpar product. In trying to somehow resolve the issue, Amanda didn’t even bother to return my phone call after saying “she’d make some calls”. Ultimately, they refuse to offer any typ

Meant to write this review last month. Went to Marva to try to get slab of natural stone for our fireplace remodel. Mindy helped us and told us that they sell larger slabs and that a small project like our might be better suited for a few local businesses that sell remnants which could save us a lot of money. She gave us several recommendations and even though we weren't going to end up purchasing from them for our small project she still took the time to go through all the materials and discuss what we should look for for our specific project with regard to the heat considerations. We were very satisfied with her attention despite it being obvious within 10 minutes that we'd be better served by a different type of retailer. If we need a large kitchen project we'd come back here.
