Due to United's close association with GAF, I was given terrific pricing and smart upgrades to GAF's remarkable Timberline HDZ Architectural shingles, its proprietary smart membrane, ridge vent, and additional roofing materials. Richard Jordan, my Project Manager, was extremely helpful from the first point of contact, handling the claim with my insurance company, meeting with their inspector, and carefully bird-dogging the entire process. He kept me informed along the way, and I appreciate his caring, friendly professionalism and thorough explanations of the process and materials. There were no surprises. Michael A. handled every detail from beginning to end. Even after insurance denied damage from Hurricane Helene; he considered every option and we finally went through a public adjuster to push it through to the end and after 10 months of fighting my home has a brand new roof. Upon approval from insurance; I waited two weeks and the crew was here. The crew went above and beyond and worked a day and a half to finish every small detail on my 55 square roof. (52 plus a rolled roofing portion) The Office Manager Kendall also was so pleasant. Since I had a terrible insurance policy…. She helped me gain approval through First Franklin to help get the much needed roof. United Contracting and Roofing is a step above the rest. Professional service throughout the entire process. I was scared and skeptical, because I had never had to buy a new roof before. My project manager was Drew Hollcroft. He was very professional always on time for our appointments, respected me as a woman making all of the decisions for my roof, very knowledgeable about roofing. Roof replaced in East Cobb in November 2025. The entire process was seamless. Ken was outstanding from start to finish— going the extra mile on many fronts and maintaining excellent communication throughout. He handled everything with professionalism and made the experience stress-free. I truly don’t think you could find a better roofer in the Atlanta area when it comes to service quality and professionalism. On top of that, the company’s pricing is highly competitive.
