Once researching different companies to do my 35-year-old tile floors I went with Universal Tile Restoration. I had gray grout (no longer gray) and neutural color tile that had been abused by kids, parties, dogs, ferrets etc. Howard came to my house and was very informative and helpful in making my decision. Price quoted was reasonable for the work to be done. Appointment was made and Agustao and Jonathan arrived as promised and went right to work. I had moved smaller pieces of furniture out and they moved the bigger pieces as they machine cleaned and sealed my tile floors. Very hard and dedicated workers never stopped until they finished. I wanted to say that Universal Tile Restoration, INC is an incredible company. From the initial call with Howard it was true professionalism. He came out immediately to look over the project. He gave me a very fair quote verbally and within hours I had it in writing. I received a call soon after to set up the appointment. I also received a confirmation call the day before the work was to be done. On the morning of the project, Juan called and said he was in traffic and would be there soon. We recently had Universal Tile Co. reset six tented/buckled tiles, inject 241 loose/hollow tiles, deep clean our tile and grout, apply two coats of color stain/sealer, and then clean and buff the entire apartment. The results were outstanding. Carlos and Chris were exceptional from start to finish. We had our over 26-year-old tile and grout cleaned and painted. The 2 individuals arrived on time and performed the work professionally. They kept me informed of their progress and clarified items as needed. The floor looks great. When the time comes again to redo, I will definitely call them again.
