University Co-op Parking Garage

September 2024 The University Co-op Parking Garage is tight for larger vehicles where always drive my compact car here. The San Antonio parking garage nearby is suitable for large trucks or SUVs. If you make a purchase at the University Co-op then you get 1 hour free. It is cashless and no attendant to help you. Other than that it is the place when I need to go to the University Co-op or shop/eat at the drag.

Motorists with full size vans or tall trucks beware! The comfortable 8’2” clearance advertised at the entrance quickly drops to 7’0” inside. So, is the clearance really 8’2”? No, it’s 7’0”. Also, witnessed a smashed car side window, apparently a theft/attempted theft, between 9:00 and 10:00 pm on a Monday night, August 16, 2021.

The entrance sign states 2 hours free parking with any purchase. Our purchase receipt only shows 1 hour free parking. But when we scan it, it says the code expired. We ended up paying $8 for parking. Will not go back ever!!!

Pretty convenient location, clean, lit, safe and not too expensive. Plenty spaces too

Really handy, super helpful staff if there's ever an issue with the machine, and I've never had issues finding a spot. Zero complaints
