5 stars! Jules and his associate with Updike Construction completely transformed our backyard! We love our new roof addition over our patio and their craftsmanship is so precise that it does not even look like an “add on”. Our hammock pergola will be fun to relax in and enjoyed for years to come. Highly recommend!

Our deck was built in 2015 or 2016, can't remember. Easy to work with then and still now. It has held up beautifully. Jules has been great about any needs we have with the deck. We had him make some adjustments to the stairs this summer for better function. The deck is now that much better. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new deck.

Updike Construction replaced a wood deck for us. It was a smaller sized project with a relatively smaller budget, but Jules gave it top priority. He is precise, professional, and dependable. We were very pleased with the completed deck and highly recommend this company.

We replaced an original 35+ year old deck using Updike Construction. Jules Updike recommended that we change from the original design, to one more practical, and costing considerably less to replace. He provided designs, material choices, and colors. He gave us a start date months in advance and updates as the time to start got closer. They're only a two man crew but very efficient and deliberate. We are very happy with their work in all phases. Definitely would recommend them to anyone needing a deck.
