Urban Doors

We purchased an exterior door from Urban Doors and within a short period of time the veneer started cracking, lifting, and popping out in several places. For a product marketed as high quality, this is completely unacceptable — especially for an exterior door that should withstand normal conditions. What’s worse is the customer service. Instead of standing behind their product, Urban Doors has refused to correct the issue and is now trying to blame us for a clear manufacturing or material defect. We have multiple areas failing, and the door has been properly installed and maintained. Their lack of accountability and unwillingness to make this right has been incredibly frustrating. We purchased an entrance door about 3 months ago (11/2025) and the casing for the door was not offered to us. So we ordered it after we received the door. 3 months later and were still waiting. Yes the doors are better priced here but everything takes forever to arrive. I do not recommend to order a customized door from this place. If you find something in store rather than ordering it is better. You will avoid to deal with all the issues.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Urban Doors Company was so unbelievably frustrating that I feel obligated to warn others. The quality of the doors I received was shockingly bad — flimsy materials, sloppy craftsmanship, and nothing like what was advertised. It honestly felt like they cut every possible corner. What made everything worse was the customer service. Trying to get help was a nightmare. Emails went unanswered for days, and when someone finally replied, the responses were dismissive and completely unhelpful. Full disclosure - I’m not a professional. I just need new interior doors for my house. Never have I felt like a business…wanted my business less? The salesperson I spoke with clearly had no idea what was going on, and wasn’t able to provide any guidance…like you’d expect from a salesperson. Idk, selection seemed fine, but again, they couldn’t explain the differences. They’re really not set up for regular people to come in. I’d save the trip and go elsewhere.

An absolute horror of a company. I went in store around October and fell in love with a front door—the door was the last one and broken and had to be ordered, the problems start here. In December, Ted the associate who helped us, called me informing me that the door arrived broken to the store. I wasn’t in a rush so I let him know to order it again. The problems continued when I kept calling asking for an update on the door and kept getting the run around from Ted. I even resorted to going in person and asking for an update there, to which I always received a “next week” and come that day receive another date, this continued until February when I received my door finally. You’d think it stopped there, in less than 24 hours of my new door being installed, the door cracked in the exact same
