US Appliance

I previously dealt with US Appliance in 2008, and was glad to see they are still in business. I recently ordered a Cooktop from them as it was much less expensive than Lowe's or Home Depot. My interactions with sales and customer service has been great. They respond quickly and have answered all the questions I had. I will definitely look to them again for future purchases.

I researched where to buy my $3500 Paykell fridge and US Appliance, whom I'd never heard of, and went with them. HUGE MISTAKE. I ordered the fridge over a month ago because they bragged about the short delivery time. Well apparently they outsource delivery to Valley Companies Last Mile and forgot about me. US Appliance said delivery would occur on the 18th of December because Valley had my fridge. In fact, I see Valley had my fridge since Dec 12! Then Valley wrote to say it would be the 23 of December between 7 and 7 and they would send a narrower timeframe. I paid a plumber to come out here 3 times to install a recess box and water line. This is the best customer service I have ever received. I reached out to A1 Appliance who I purchased the kitchen appliance set from, as there was damage to the handle on my new range when it was delivered. We opened the box and found the handle was bent. A1 quickly put me in touch with GE Customer service provider, Tammi, who first apologized, then set about making it right. Even though I was to report damage in 7 days and it was 12, she said it was business days, so didn't count the weekends, nor Thanksgiving, or Black Friday, so I just squeaked in! She asked a few questions, for the model and serial numbers, then she took care of the rest. The next day I had an appointment for the repairs that same week. We recently purchased a stove from US Appliance. I called to check their prices and was fortunate to be able to speak with a sales representative named Franco. He was incredibly knowledgeable about their products and incredibly patient in answering my myriad of questions. I originally called with three different models in mind. With Franco's help, I ended the call being confident I had chosen the right one. Thanks to US Appliance for, not only having great prices, but offering amazing customer service.

Not a great experience. :/ I ordered an Electrolux washer/dryer unit about six weeks ago and unfortunately the experience has been disappointing. The machine arrived with a dent on the side, and instead of being able to test it first - I was only offered a 10% refund to keep it and take a gamble on it. I really needed a washer and didn’t have another week or 2 to wait it out for another one. At first it seemed to work, but after just a few weeks the dryer started malfunctioning and making loud noises. When a repair technician came, he mentioned that this is a common issue with this product, which was discouraging to hear.
