I am an investor and buy houses to repair them. We recently had a basement flood due to the polybutylene piping failing and it destroyed all of the remodel we had just done. Erin at Utah Restoration Company was quick to get out and get fans and a dehumidifier set up, get everything torn out to make sure we didn’t have any moisture issues for the build back. Due to a faulty toilet in our 2nd floor master suite, the ceiling below it has had several issues. We had tried replacing the toilet, replacing the wax ring, and addressing what we thought the problem was -- 4 times previously to this event. Unfortunately, the leaks continued to the point of the ceiling falling down. I called Utah Restoration Company the next morning, and Erin immediately addressed our needs. She sent someone from their team out that day. Star was our project manager, and he handled our problem very professionally. He gave us an honest assessment of the damage and an estimated cost to demo, dry, treat the mold, and repair the ceiling. Our house was flooded when a company installed a dryer - with a steam setting (needing a waterline). Not only was Utah Restoration quick and efficient, they went above and beyond working with our schedule and being available when our work order was approved by the at-fault company. We worked with Star, who was absolutely incredible and flexible. Our house was mitigated within a day of approval and our repairs (done by Mike) left it looking even better than before the flooding. We will be using them again if anything unfortunate ever happens again, it was invaluable to have such kindness and efficiency in a chaotic situation.
