I used Valor Contracting for a roof replacement after storm damage, and at first I was very happy with the experience. The crew was professional, the roof itself looks good, and the process initially felt smooth and well organized. After the job was completed, I noticed storm-damaged fascia boards (about 60 linear feet) that should have been replaced at the time of the roofing work. I contacted the company and was told they would take care of it and that I didn’t need to go through insurance. When they eventually came back out, only two small sections of fascia were repaired. Additional damaged fascia was left untouched, and unfortunately, new damage was caused under the eaves during the process. I needed a new roof so I reached out to a few different companies for a quote and to gain some information regarding the best choice of materials. We ended up going with a 50 year shingle that came with an extensive warrantee. I learned throughout the planning process that one of the most important aspects of hiring was to make sure the project manager was local and would be on site throughout the entire job. Valor left my entire yard around the house just as it was prior to the job starting, a very respectful and clean crew. Brandon, the project manager was here everyday and responded to my calls and texts promptly. He had a solid answer to all my inquires. I was very pleased with the outcome and would most certainly hire him again.

Ray Valencia and his crew were great! They got all of the work done on the day Ray said they would. The quality of work is outstanding as well as the cleanup and Ray’s communication skills are excellent. I would highly recommend Ray to anyone who needs a roof.

Shout out to Jonathan and his crew. I needed a roof sooner than later. Jonathan came out as well as 4 other roofing companies. Jonathan was the only one who got me back a bid the same day with pictures and explanations of the costs and procedures. We hired him. The men showed up as expected. Worked so very hard. They cleaned up every bit of the mess and nails. No nails left behind which was important as we have horses and grandchildren. Jonathan communicated with me throughout the whole job. I highly recommend Valor roofing.

It was a long process, but Jonathan was there every step of the way. He went to bat for us and had always kept us in the loop. He and the crew that came out were very professional and knowledgeable. They took their time, and with great care and skill they gave us a beautiful new roof. We are now the envy of the neighborhood.
