Venice Acres

Very nice quiet neighborhood, I have lived in Venice acres since I built my home in 1996. I love the lot sizes, great place to raise a family. Venice acres is a gem, close to the beaches and just a few minutes to the interstate. The best part, that's this is not a cookie cutter neighborhood that roof of your neighbor practically touches your roof like all the other neighborhood around, there is plenty of space to roam.

We bought our retirement home in Venice Acres last July....started a complete remodel ..put up 600' of privacy fence..had a new roof installed and one week later Irma dropped a 100' Australian oak on the new roof...we were in Panama City Beach at our condo on the beach at the time waiting on Irma there. We drove 1675 miles last May around the area (rented a house for a month)checking out the area and looking for a house. We chose Venice Acres over everything else we looked at. Great location..acre plus lots...privacy..one street in and out...good neighborhood and good neighbors . A great place to live. Rap and Mary Peavy

We have lived in Venice Acres since 1985. You will notice there are a lot of owners who also have stayed here a very long time too. Our location is central to everything but we have a country feel with a minimum of 1 acre lots for breathing space. We are not a high stress neighborhood. Our Homeowner's association is a non-profit and takes care of road maintenance (among other things). The roads are private roads and a major plus is that no roads lead in or out of Venice Acres except Hermitage Blvd. so it is not a through street for other traffic. We get tons of beautiful birds visiting including the Painted Buntings, Hummingbirds, Eagles, Ibis, Sandhill Cranes, Red Shouldered Hawks and many of the Warblers. We love Venice Acres. A hidden gem of a neighborhood that we moved into 8 years ago, you couldn't fine such beauty any where else. Large lots and peaceful!

I’ve lived in Venice Acres for over 13 years. This neighborhood is beautiful. The people here are very friendly. I could never imagine living somewhere else!
