The buildup inside the vent turned out to be much heavier and stickier than normal lint. It was actually overheating the machine. Ventwise came out and did a great job. They used a degreasing foam and a stiff rotary brush to really scour the pipes clean since standard tools wouldn't work on that oily residue. The airflow is way better now.
