We had a positive experience with our kitchen/ living room renovation on our vacation home/ Airbnb in Grand Isle VT. Planning was very detailed and thorough and we loved that photos were posted each day documenting daily progress- a key as we were renovating from out of state. All work was done ahead of schedule. Attic Renovation--Vermont Renovation and Remodeling worked with my partner and I over the course of a year to design and build out our 1880s farmhouse. The project had many working parts including moving a set of terribly steep stairs and building a new stairwell in a different area of the home. We were hoping to renovate the original and unused attic space of our home and add a bedroom and bathroom. VTR&R offered several designs and worked with us to plan for our current and future needs. At the end of the project, we have finished with more than we could have imagined! Their staff offered creative solutions to small areas (built in bookshelf to hide old stairwell entry), they were committed to refinishing and saving the original hardwood floors, and added touches original to the old home

Based on the high-ranking reviews, I decided to go with Vermont Renovation and Remodeling. The other reviews proved accurate! Bill couldn't have been more efficient, friendly and professional. His rates were reasonable and I really appreciated his timely communication regarding project updates and when he'd be at the house. I find it amazing he knows how to do everything including replacing an old AC unit built into the all-wood wall with a new window (and it's so helpful he's got the business contacts such as a window supplier.) I worked with the good people at Vermont Renovation and Remodeling for a complete kitchen remodel at my Burlington, Vermont home. I cannot speak highly enough of them and the quality of their work. Bill, Erik, and the team helped me design the kitchen, identify what I needed to do to realize my vision, were patient when I had trouble making a decision, and got the project done on time and within budget. Their commitment to my project was obvious and greatly appreciated. My kitchen turned out better than I could have imagined. I definitely intend to work with them again on a complete bathroom remodel.
