When hail season comes back around, you'll have your pick of roofing companies literally at your door. If you pick Vertex, you may wind up a leaking roof and unreturned phone calls, like me. Vertex replaced my roof in 2021 and it leaked, staining my bedroom ceiling. I identified the leak in the attic when Vertex was unable to. A contractor was sent out and further sealed the dryer vent. Buddy, the owner, called me denying responsibility and and told me to call an AC repair man [in January]. The roof continued to leak and Buddy stopped returning my phone calls.

The sales lady just came out for an estimate, didn't even get up on the roof and tried telling me I needed a completely new roof. She kept asking me how much I got from insurance. I have gotten 4 other estimates from credible bonded and insured roofing companies and the estimate was $700 bucks (300 of that goes to the engineer to check) NOT A WHOLE NEW ROOF FOR $7000. I have family in this business so I know what to watch out for, please be careful people!

Highest recommendation. Vertex replaced a roof on one of my properties approximately 18 months ago. The owner was easy to deal with, prices competitively, and started work within days. Workers inspmaintained a clean worksite and were professional in their interactions with me and neighbors. Bottom line, the roof went through a hurricane and there was not a shingle out of place. I've recommended them to friends and would use them again without reservation.
