We've hired dozens of contractors over the years and Vertical Roofing was by far the best. Our insurance company was being very difficult when it came to approving our roof, so we decided to involve Vertical Roofing who we heard was very good with insurance. They got our roof approved immediately. The whole way through they were communicative, professional, and so knowledgeable. They did our whole roof in 1 day! The installers were punctual, professional, and super diligent. The roof looks incredible and they left our property spotless. They rolled over every square inch of our property with a magnetic broom, and they even asked our neighbors for permission to sweep the nearby sides of their properties. Vincent from Vertical Roofing solicited our house this morning trying to sell us a new roof. We politely ignored his first attempt, but he continued to bang on our door. I answered our doorbell camera and told him we weren’t interested. He continued to knock on the door until I answered it, and he tried to argue with me how “he wasn’t selling anything.” This is all on a Saturday morning. This by far the most rude encounter I’ve ever had with a door-to-door salesperson. I could use some colorful language to describe how this person acted, but I’ll restrain myself. If this is any indication as to how Vertical Roofing runs their business, I would steer clear. The fact that no one respects No Soliciting signs anymore is troubling, but this was beyond the pale. The solicitor from this company was incredibly aggressive and continued to open our screen door to knock on our door when we didn’t answer. We did talk to him through the doorbell cam to say we weren’t interested, but then he opened our screen door and banged on the door AGAIN after we hung up. It was very invasive, strange, and frightening to have a salesman behave in this way. I would definitely urge anyone considering this company take their business elsewhere.
