My recent experience with Garage Door Vets has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. A couple of weeks ago, this company serviced my garage door and required payment through Zelle before they would even begin the job. I paid them without issue because I believed I was supporting a veteran-owned business. My father was a veteran who passed away a year ago, so businesses that represent and support veterans mean a lot to me. Today, while trying to send a $650 Zelle payment to a different company that also had “garage” in their name, I accidentally selected Garage Door Vets from my contacts. First company I worked with charged me an outrageous price for getting my garage door back on its tracks without any proper diagnosis/repair which led to continued failures.
