A delivery van got stuck in my yard and catapulted across the driveway when their spinning tires finally caught traction. It smashed through the foundation of my garage, pushed a wall in and tore out the garage door. It went so far into the garage that it pushed the steps into my kitchen sideways splitting the hand rail. The delivery company had insurance to cover the cost of repairs, but I had no idea how to estimate the costs, find the right people to make the repairs and file all the paperwork. Fortunately, I knew Len Phillips and VRS. Len put together a 20 page detailed estimate for the insurance claim. He brought in a structural engineer and all the necessary people to make the repairs. First of all, I am a builder and know the difference between construction well done and that which is not. This is also not my first restoration job on my personal home so I have something to compare their work with. I could not have been happier; there was never a question of quality work. Everything they did met my high standards. What I appreciated most was they were timely in their response to getting everything done. To me, that was important as the work quality. Our dishwasher leaked and flooded our kitchen. It was a stressful mess until we called Virginia Restoration Services. They promptly showed up and started the drying process. I felt a lot better about the whole thing after talking with them. They were very knowledgeable and professional. Everett explained every step of the process very clearly. Our kitchen turned out wonderful and I would highly recommend them!

I had water damage.Vrs did not properly dry the wall. They painted over a damp wall and of course the paint peeled the wall cracked. I have water stains and mild. The ceiling tile they replaced started pulling away less than a year after the put it up. The flooring started peeling up. They removed a threshold and didn’t replace it so I was left with a gap. I had molding that was damaged. When I asked why they didn’t replace it they said that they didn’t include it in the estimate. Now I have to spend more money to get someone to fix all their mistakes. Undate...the ceiling tiles fell!

Len and his crew did an excellent job on replacing my old bathtub with a beautiful new shower. I was kept informed every step of the way. They let me know right away if there were any problems and did their best to remedy them as soon as possible. Everyone was very friendly and professional. They even graciously hung my bathroom accessories when they were finished. I would highly recommend this company.
