Excellent place to get firewood. I needed Hickory for my offset firebox, and I am glad that I ran across Baxter’s. Friendly guys and great prices. Thank you!!!
Volrath hardwoods is a local 5 star business!!! I recommend them if you want top quality firewood. I was smoking 10 pork butts for a buddy and ran low on my wood supply. I called Doug and he gave directions to the building i needed to go to. These people are friendly, very helpful and the wood is excellent. Kiln dried is the way to go for use in an offset smoker. I'll be going back in a few weeks for some hickory firewood and anytime my supply runs low.
I couldn't be happier with the kiln-dried firewood they delivered to me. The hickory and oak is what I wanted, and fire start-ups are easy! And since the wood is kiln-dried, there are no bugs, plus it's ready to burn immediately. You can't beat their product. Thanks Doug and Dana!
