Outstanding Job! The technician, Chris, was on time, very professional, excellent communicator, and took the time to explain in detail, what he would be doing to remedy my fireplace issue. This was the first time working with this company and the the knowledge that Chris had regarding my unit was extremely impressive! He found the issue and repaired it. He followed up by cleaning the fire place and glass and was extremely neat and took care regarding the carpet area! To add, what was meaningful to me, was when he was going to vacuum he told me it would be loud and was concerned if my son who has autism would be ok with the sound! Extremely thoughtful and professional! Yes, a great company, great tech and I would highly recommend them!

I've called several places seemed they either flaked out, or wanted to do a bunch of unnecessary repairs. I called Vonderhaar they came out did an assessment and a cleaning. They were great, honest, and didn't seem shady in the least. The technician was very down to earth and informative. They cleaned my chimney and my wood burner, I don't think it could have been any better. Sorry i wasted my time with the other guys.

All in all, my experience with Vondarhar has been pretty good as far as chimney cleaning. They are nice people in the office, and the service folks have been good too. My problem is the price for service. I understand they have to drive about 2-hours round trip to my home but it at best takes 30 minutes for them to clean my chimney. The cost with the coupon discount is $240.00. I know you only get what pay for but that's really high. I also bought a very expensive Pacific Energy Wood Insert. The unit right after install had very noisy verticle mounted blowers. They were never able to get it fixed. Supposedly the company made some up grades to the blowers but it's never been right. The owner actually came out and worked on it too but to no avail it's been nosey since Ive had it. T

Excellent work: tidy, timely, pleasant, on budget! We’ve used Vonderhaar for years but our new conversion to a gas-only fireplace was our biggest job so far and it’s perfect. Brian and Aidan did a great job, Kirk and Jen, too!

We live in a house built in the 1940s that was built with a wood burning fireplace and for the longest time, this wasn't a problem. However, as time went on, I developed several degenerative lung issues that in time will be terminal. The original fireplace was not built to typical dimensions so while the bulk of the smoke vented out the chimney, some of it vented into the house which would exacerbate my lung conditions.
