W & S Landscape Services

We had W&S complete two major projects for us since early summer. First, we worked with Brian and his team on a landscaping scheme for the front of our home completed in August of last year. Our major objective was not to hide our new home behind a 'wall' of plants and bushes, and Brian's recommendations and plant selections were right on. He created a low-key, visually appealing scheme that accents our home and takes into account our soil composition, sun exposure, and rainwater and drainage environment. Kudos Brian and team. Second, we worked with Robert and his team to add a patio to the rear of our home and extend our outdoor living space beyond our covered porch. Robert listened to our thoughts and provided information and advice on the paver selection, eventually providing a design

When we discussed a landscape problem we were experiencing at our property with another contractor who had performed unrelated services for us for several years, that contractor recommended W&S Landscape Services, specifically the owner by name. We soon arranged for W&S to visit. We explained our problems to the W&S owner and landscape designer. They walked the property and within a short time stated they would be able to offer solutions to the longterm problems we were experiencing. Both men returned in a few days with digital measuring equipment to map and measure the problem areas, discuss several solutions to our problems as they were multiple. After a reasonable time of less than 10 days, both the owner and the landscape designer returned with a quote to solve our multiple problems

W&S Landscape Services did a tremendous job landscaping around my pool. They built a custom retaining wall with steps that were necessary due to our in-ground pool being dug (by a different company) higher than we originally expected. W&S helped us brainstorm options and ultimately install a solution that made it look like it was part of our original design. They also added custom steps from the side of our pool to an existing patio that nicely bridged the pool to the patio. Two years later and their work looks as good as it did on the day it was installed. They also laid lots of red stone around the fence line surrounding our pool and pool equipment, and they installed topsoil new grass to restore the remainder of our yard to its pre-pool condition. I contacted W&S for a quote on a midsize landscaping project that involved installing a new retaining wall, roughly 4 feet tall by 30 feet wide, along the side of our driveway. The project was significantly complicated due to the removal of a large tree, the grade of the plot, and installation/planning of a new driveway surface (completed by another contractor). W&S were extremely fair and transparent in pricing, availability, and answered all questions promptly. Construction of the wall took about 5-6 days total, including some delays due to complications of the site, etc. Overall, I was kept informed throughout and have nothing but great things to say. W&S Landscaping did a really great job for us removing our old in ground pool and then designing and building us a great looking patio, wall, sidewalk and landscaped area. The new space is beautiful, and they were very easy and pleasant to work with! We’d highly recommend them.
