Been a customer for over 4 years. I have had excellent service and results the entire duration. Several technicians kept an old a/c unit alive for several years. In the last year we installed a mini split on a porch and recently a new Trane AC with variable speed .The results have been outstanding and the quality of the air is astounding as the inside humidity is no longer. Many thanks to Santiago for advising the units needed , Dave, Johnny and Nathan for fine tuning the systems and especially Barry for assisting and directing his team ! Lucas did our HVAC service and he was probably the most knowledgeable.and professional.service technician that we have ever had work on our HVAC. Don’t get me wrong, Waccamaw Heating & Cooling is great. They have maintained our system for years and have always treated us as though we were family. But, Lucas was a step above all the rest and spent enough time to go the extra mile mile to ensure we were set up for the summer. June 19 2025 an appointment was made for Waccamaw Heating & Cooling to service my WORKING HVAC Unit. Technician arrived cleaned the unit and advised a new unit was needed due to the age and multiple issues. I responded, please just do cleaning, as it’s still working. Technician completed work, set thermostat and collected payment and left. The unit did not work. 2 hours later I called, and an on call technician came out. He checked the system, and advised me the fan motor was broken, and as it was an old unit it should be replaced. A sales appointment was made which I ultimately canceled. I made a call to another company who came out the next day. It was discovered that the wires to the capacitor were wired incorrectly. Unit worked immediately. I believe this companies sole purpose was to
