Waikiki Shopping Plaza Parking

Gah, they got me good! Parked here to spend the day in downtown Waikīkī. Great location, but there’s fine print. It’s a $17 “flat rate” parking *UP TO* 10 hours. Then they start charging $3 per half hour or FRACTION of an hour. Super annoying and expensive surprise at the pay stall at the end of the day. The ultra fine print is posted at the front entrance off a busy street while you’re zooming up the steep incline. Well played, parking people—it’s a great way to con unwitting tourists. Won’t make that mistake again.

good place to park in waikiki! the STIX food court restaurant will validate for 2 hours if you spend $20 at one of the restaurants which is easy because the food is amazing. gets a bit crowded on the weekend after 5pm though

I've used this place before for their fixed 10hr parking. Did it lots of times on a Tuesday night from 5:30 to 11:30PM. Would pay the fixed price no problem. THIS WEEK, they've gone and pulled a dirty, dirty trick. I go to pick up my car at 11:30 and they charge me $27 instead of the posted $15. Their excuse? They've added some tiny print under their big $15 sign, that reads "Must enter before 4:30PM". What a load of B.S. I disputed this underhanded dirty deal. Thankfully my credit card company agreed. Screw these dirtballs.

The parking attendant locked up the parking on our car, then to find out 5 other parties had this problem as well. We asked for the manager’s number but he refused. When talking to him he started accusing us of wanting to get violent with him and then started threatening to call the police. He started yelling at a girl and told her to go back to where she’s from in a racist fashion. He then called the policed and told them that there’s 10 people attacking him. The police explained that this is not the first time he does this and that he had done the exact same the night before. One policeman yelled at him for being rude and gave us the manager’s number from said worker. We left and tried to called the manager, turns out he gave us and the police his number.
