Walmart Supercenter

I avoid going to this Walmart like the plague. First you have to walk through the jail gates to get in the store. Now, they took almost all of the self check out lines out. At first I was like great. But no. They tend to not ever have enough cashiers and you end up having to wait in an even longer line to check out because they took out most of the self check out registers. Take note. Past 7am in the morning. No cashiers. Long self check out. December 22 2025.

I Had a really good experience at Walmart today! The front end lines are always long however, It was moving fast and everything felt super organized. Big shoutout to Coach Alex for keeping the lines under control, He noticed I was in a hurry and he made sure things kept flowing so I could get in and out quickly . Also want to thank my cashier for being friendly and efficient, which made the whole checkout process even smoother.

I must start this off by stating boldly that “I love”Walmart”!! So, this review hurts my heart, but I hope it gets Corporate attention and helps someone else! I shop Walmart Richton Park Il. at least 4-5 times a week. My wife and I find great quality and value there. But, on Sunday 9-28-25, I purchase a box of “freshly” baked donuts. As I purchase these often, I knew I was in for a treat.When my wife and I was about to open them we saw bugs flying all over the glaze and chocolate. Even though my heart and stomach dropped, I wouldn’t have been so upset except the store didn’t care! I couldn’t get a manager to come to customer service, and the representative never even looked at me or even said “Sorry” I am TOTALLY disappointed in Walmart Richton Park!! They desperately need a Health Inspe

Utter disaster of a Walmart. This place shut down the self- checkout machines to create 3-4 human checkout aisles, resulting in ridiculously long lines. Last time I went here, I saw lines spanning all the way past the freezers and just walked back out. What idiotic supervisors. I get you want to stop theft, but this isn’t the way. Realize that you’re just losing more customers due to this idiotic plan. Is it worth losing customers just to prevent petty theft? Hate this place now. Do yourself a favor and drive a few minutes to Meijer, where you won’t have to wait 20+ minutes to checkout. And with the same prices.

This location consistently has very few cashier lanes open and forces customers to use self-checkout. After customers scan and bag their own purchases, employees stop customers at the exit to check items. This creates a frustrating experience where customers are doing the work of employees but are still treated with suspicion. I’m requesting that more staffed lanes be opened or the exit checks be reconsidered.
