Walmart Supercenter

This is the second time I’ve had an unpleasant experience at this location. I was in today using my app to shop since it tells you what aisle the items are on. I was on the correct aisle and looking for my item for several minutes but couldn’t find it. There was an employee a few feet away picking an order so I ask him if he knew where the item was he said “did you look for it?” , seriously?! So i said, yes it says its supposed to be here but I dont see it (keep in my this entire section was fully stocked so i know it was here). The employee said “you just have to look for it, thats what I have to do”. This really rubbed me the wrong way, because he works there ,I would expect a little more customer service. Make this make sense. The Walmart on Broadway has all of their cosmetics in one section. They have a cashier there so you can pay coming out. I wanted to pay cash. The young lady tells me she does not have change. I tell her “that’s OK. I can wait. You can call someone to bring you change” She says they’re no one. I can call. I look at this girl. I love everybody, but there is something about this generation of people that will not call for assistance when they Are incapable or unable to do the simplest part of their job. It amazes me. The number of people under 40 who said I can’t do that and they act like their decision is the end all of it all…. I’m literally disgusted with this particular Walmart. I work for the local school district and have frequented this store several times to purchase things both for myself and my students. I went to self checkout and scanned some sharpies which they now have to see who is buying them and at what age. I have done this multiple times in the past with no problems but today a team member came over and asked for my identification. Now let me just say this I’m a 54 balding man and I said are you serious? She said yes let’s see your ID. I asked for a manager. Now they have a sign that says if you look under 40 they will ask for a ID. Again I wish I did. The manager said she wanted an ID. Now I can clearly be these associates dad or granddad but you going to stop me from buying sharpies. I just to

Curbside pickup order. Was done quick and easy. Waited maybe 2 minutes, if that. The curbside person was nice and helpful.

Charity was an absolute saving grace! We are from the DFW, we have searched high and low for a specific puffer jacket my son has been wanting with no luck in the DFW area. My husband just so happened to be doing a job out that way he stop by this Walmart to see if it was in stock. Charity went to the back and found exactly what we were looking for with no hesitation. Charity a huge thank you for being so thorough and helping make my son’s day.
