Walmart Supercenter

I know there are already posts about the decision by Walmart to stop listing prices on many items, requiring customers to stand in the aisle and look up individual item prices on their phones. But Walmart needs to realized two things: (1) you are creating traffic jams in aisles that can barely fit a cart and person standing adjacent, further frustrating customers, and (2) you need to train Walmart employees to provide assistance in these areas. Although I had a phone and was able to look up & compare prices, many others could not. When I tried to speak to an employee while checking out, he just stared blankly at me with no empathy. Do better, Walmart!

This Walmart supercenter was clean and well stocked. Things are easy to find. The only interaction we had with an employee was when we were checking out on self checkout we're an item barcode wouldn't pick up and they assisted us and we left satisfied and thankful.

If you are elderly, it's going to be difficult to know what the prices are. They have switched from posting the price to using your phone to scan the price, it's pretty close to being all QR codes. I'm rebelling!! Not everyone has a phone, so there's going to be longer lines at the self checkout. I believe that people will pick an item up and if it scans as a price they don't like, (because it's going to be a fluctuating price, not a constant you used to trust), they'll abandon it at the counter. You will never know if it's gone up by 10.00 or down by .50 cents. In order to know, you will have to keep track on your own. It requires an app, which means, they can track you!!! Publix it is then!

I have used Walmart+ for years prior to moving to Venice, and although I have loved everything ELSE about Venice so far, their Walmart sucks. I’ve not even been here a year and I’ve had multiple deliveries not show up when they say they are going to & customer service is USELESS. I ordered food to be delivered on the 30- it never showed up. I called customer services and they promised me it would hear 3-5 on the 31st. Didn’t show up by 5 so I called again to which she again promised me it would be here by 11 pm. Auto care service,I came to tires rotation, 10 minutes later they call me & ask to came back, so technician told me my tires in the danger condition & they refused to rotate my tires, I did install my tires in Walmart 3 years ago & I bought hazard warranty, I did tires rotation every 7k & no body talk me before my tires bad, so did refuse my service, I went to manager & he talk same, I went to other managers & explain what happened, they went outside, came back in the 10 minutes & told me same, they can’t point to me: what wrong with the tires.
