Walnut Street Garage

Our go to parking location when headed downtown. It also has a nice view of the fireworks on the 4th of July if you park at the top level. Still a reasonable place to park with easy access to downtown Bethlehem attractions. 2022: A nice new parking payment system has been introduced by ParkWiz. You can pay on your phone and use the QR code when leaving. Worked well the first time we used it today. 2025: They tore down and rebuilt the walnut street garage. The grand opening was yesterday and we have already used it tonight to park and go to the reg stag. Modern and still the fresh smell of paint in the stairwells!

I've gone on a normal weekend and on musikfest. On a normal weekend you can find parking, but as the day goes on you'll have to drive up to higher levels, as is what happens as time goes on with parking garages. Musik fest was a lot more annoying as one might expect so be ready next year. We parked in the evening.

I'm not a city girl. I had no clue how to get out without a credit card or debit card. I had already tried to get out and then at the gate found out you couldn't use cash. Thank goodness no one was behind me because I had to back out and park again. I finally stood by the gate and had to wait and ask someone leaving how you pay in cash. I had to walk on the sidewalk to the other end of the garage, with my cane because I ripped my knee apart, and insert my ticket in a machine, it showed me how much, put in the cash and my ticket came back out marked paid. It also gives out receipts, but it didn't come out. I think it was probably out of paper so no receipt for me. Had to walk back to the other end of the garage, again cane and torn knee, get back into my vehicle, go to the gate again, then

This garage always has plenty of spots to park. It's situated in a favorable location that makes it easy to walk to the stores and bars nearby. I like the fact that the payment machine is outside the garage so that you can pay for your parking before you leave

Perhaps the only parking garage I have ever become attached to. It's quite central, there are always spaces, it's easy to navigate, and the rates are cheap. If you have a car, and want to get out of it, this is a good place to do so. 10/10. Would exit my vehicle again.
