Wehrum Excavating

I found Wehrum through a google search last week and reached out to them online. They contacted me within 24 hours. Showed up when they said they would to give an estimate. Gave me a verbal description of work and price on the spot. Sent me a quote in writing. I solicited 3 bids. They were not the highest or lowest. Said they could start in a few weeks. Perfect. Sold. They then texted and said they had an opening allowing them to start and finish the job early. VERY happy with all aspects of my experience from first contact to completion. I recommend!!!!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND MICHAEL WEHRUM OR WEHRUM EXCAVATING – Based on My Experience I want to share my experience with Michael Wehrum of Wehrum Excavating LLC to help others make informed decisions. In March, I hired Michael to replace a 100-foot retaining wall. I chose him because he’s local, his quote fit my budget, and he seemed trustworthy. I paid a $10,000 deposit with an estimated start date of mid-June. Initially, things went well—he did some tree removal work in April that I was happy with. But starting in June, communication became inconsistent. He said weather delays had pushed his schedule back, which I understood. However, after that, I had to repeatedly reach out just to get updates. Promised start dates came and went with no follow-through, and I was left chasing responses. Af

I have used Michael Wehrum for gravel a couple of times. He is reliable, punctual, and he makes sure you are satisfied. He dumped the river rock where I wanted it and tailgated my crusher run to cover the length of my driveway. Price is competitive for the area. I will have him back.

WATCH OUT FOR THIS ONE! I've been in talks with Michael Wehrum about doing a simple 100ft gravel drive. he said it would not be a problem and done in a few days. I paid him $1500 upfront. Then the excuses started rolling in... days turned into weeks and then months. I just want my money back at this point! He's delayed are whole moving process. Thanks alot dude. ...UPDATE... It took awhile but I have got my money back in full at this point. ...UPDATE #2... At this point I'm being harassed to take my bad review down. Also I found someone els to do the work and they got it done in NO TIME and on short notice and said I should not have paid for a small job like this upfront. Lesson learned.

We reached out to Michael for some gravel, and his service was fantastic! Not only was Michael easy to work with, but he was also QUICK to get us the gravel we were needing. We will definitely be using Wehrum Excavating for future projects!
