Do not make final payment to Mark, Matt, Sarah or Wenzel Inc. Landscaping until you are 1000% sure the work is finished to your satisfaction. Mark came highly recommended by a friend and he did the same thing to both of us. They do not finish their work then ghost you. We spent a fortune for patio, walkway, and granite step work. His crew damaged our pool patio with their large equipment. He acknowledged it and promised to fix it. Unfortunately I made final payment to him and that was the last I’ve heard from him. He will not return calls and conveniently screens his calls. Wenzel is NOT a trustworthy company and their finish work is shoddy at best. DO NOT HIRE MARK OR HIS COMPANY. Mark Wenzel and his team are the most professional, experienced landscape contractors I have ever met. Mark is extremely knowledgeable about retaining walls, materials and drainage. Each member of his team has a strong work ethic to meet deliverables. Mark takes pride in his work and it shows. My wife and I are extremely pleased with his work. Top shelf quality

Hardscaping/landscaping completed by Wenzel in June 2022. The team was hardworking and flexible. But I did have several issues... Hardscaping: Generally satisfied with new patio and walkway however, I wasn’t told until the day of install that the initial design of the walkway was not possible, the polymeric sand is washing away in places and there are several chipped pavers that should not have been installed. Also, they recommended installing a concrete pad under my AC unit and after assuring me they could move the unit without first being disconnected by a technician, they damaged the unit, costing 1.5k for the repairs for which they would not reimburse. Wenzel Landscaping re-did our side yard and entire backyard, including leveling an unforgiving hill and transforming our entire outdoor space into an oasis, completely different from how it looked and felt before. Wenzel Landscaping would get 10 stars from us. They went beyond expectations. Mark, the dad, takes such pride in his work. He works with his son, Matt, who does awesome stone work. His daughter, Sarah, was able to help on our project. She finished up our landscaping with plants from around our yard and even brought some from her own yard!!!! Highly recommended.
