The phone number on their website keeps changing if you update it/go incongnito... anyways, I called this morning to get a locksmith to come out, a boy named Daniel showed up in a benz SUV. My front door handle had to be replaced because a piece had broken off internally. Long story short, I had the parts ready. He on the spot quoted me $899 -- absolutely not. We asked how long it would take him (I'm guessing less than 2 hours), he said he didn't know, and that they don't charge by hour, they charge by project. I said no thanks and he said I have to pay a $89 service consultation, also no. Asked him to leave and I ended up calling another locksmith that quoted me $160 for the job. Call your local small business, they'll be much better and much nicer.

Got locked out of my apartment in San Francisco. Found these guys on Google, seemed like they had good reviews. The guy said he would get here in 25 minutes but ended up taking an hour. Before he started he quoted me $399. Why didn’t they tell me price over the phone? He was able to pick the lock (no drilling). They charged me $568, base of $399, “service fee” was over $100. Definitely feels like a scam, I looked at other companies and they charge far, far less. Choose another locksmith that cares about customers and isn’t a scammer.

First notice how they don’t give a price ? That’s because they decide how much they can get once they are there. No accountability and they specifically DONT list price. $250 for a lock out. Just fyi. That was me others are probably higher. Or lower depends on what they think they can get. The positive is they got there in 30 minutes. So obviously if you are desperate on time. That’s good.
