Western states flooring

We had Manuel do our carpet installation, and he was amazing. He worked efficiently all on his own and was such a hard worker—lifting all the foam and carpet by himself without hesitation. He came in and got straight to work. We’re very satisfied with the results and truly think he deserves a raise!

Our carpet that we picked through Home Depot is great. Everyone talks about how comfortable and cushy it is. This company who Home Depot used to install had great customer service when it came to setting up our appointment and communicating. The problem was with installation. They came early and on time and were pretty quick with installation. I hadn’t noticed until closer inspection after they left, it didn’t look like they had been very careful with our wall as there were all these scratches and dinks. Most of them were small but there were a few we had to fill in and paint over again. They even got some blood on our wall and left it. There was also a good sized gap between the carpet and wall, a finger width or more. So we were upset and disappointed since this was for our brand new bas

We had them over to put new carpet in our basement and stairs. And walking on the new stairs I kept getting poked with nails. So I called them and they stopped by today to “fix” the problem. I went to check and see today if they fixed it and lo and behold there are still many nails. If you want a good job done with your carpet I would highly recommend not going to these guys.

I got Laminate floor through Home Depot, they contracted the job out to Western. The 2 guys who did my floor, did an ok job, the transition pieces they used were the wrong 1s and all are just laying where they go but are not glued in place. (Carlos) did send a text about their time which I appreciated. They started about 12, and said they would be done in 4 hours, I came home at 3 to very Loud Mexican music, I thought if they saw me they would turn it off, no such luck, my husband came home and we went downstairs to watch TV and be out of their hair. We had to turn the TV to volume 62 so we could hear. I asked them to turn down their music and they did a little bit, we went downstairs and the volume went back up. 5/30/25 I would never, ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever hire Western States flooring, ever again. Do not, and I repeat do not ever do business with this company. This is a review about a flooring job I had done on my home. I went into Home Depot and had them act as contractor for my new laminate wood floor. I ordered all the materials through Home Depot and they subcontracted Western States flooring for the install. It may be one of the worst flooring installs I've ever seen. Here's what happened: Day one: a single laborer with his pregnant wife shows up and ripped out the carpet. Sweet! Getting the job done. He evaluates the floor which is a concrete floor, and tells me it's not level and he needs to float the floor. Great! Let's do it. Here's where the problems begin. H
