DO NOT PARK HERE!! We came into town for the day to sight see I'm your city and to catch a Mariners game. We made a point of checking with two different attendants before leaving our car about getting back to the garage later. We specifically asked if getting back around 9pm would be an issue—they assured us it wouldn’t. Well, it absolutely WAS. The garage was locked up tight by 8pm. On a Monday night. What followed was a nightmare: Four of the “emergency” numbers posted were disconnected. One number had no voicemail. One went to a random woman who kindly confirmed she has nothing to do with the garage. When we finally reached someone with the company, they told us we had the wrong number too—but at least gave us yet another one that eventually worked. This was a frustrating and time-w
The garage closes weirdly early (before 9 pm in my case) but doesn't have the hours posted anywhere obvious. You can get in by calling a number posted on the window of the lobby (on the corner of Olive and 5th), and in our case a security guard was just inside and let us in, so it was easier to get the car than we expected. I think the hours should be posted much more prominently since it seems like a common issue, and other reviews make me worry there won't always be a security guard so easy to find. I think there's something weird about the card orientation but I can't remember now if it works the normal way (chip in) and is labeled wrong or works in a weird way (chip out) and is labeled correctly. Either way, I think it's reading the magstripe. I had to swipe my card twice before it
This garage doesn’t have a manned booth. The credit card readers are new, high tech, and don’t work. I tried to pay my parking at both the “B” level elevator pay station, and at the exit. Failed at both locations after using several different credit cards and trying multiple times. The reader suggested I push the non-existent “help” button several times. I felt like a hammer would have been more useful. Ultimately I began to try to dismantle the exit gate in order to get out. As I was getting my tools out a custodian happened along and offered to assist (with the reader). I watched him put my card in upside down (mag stripe down), then backwards. The machine read the card and I happily left. Vowing never to park there again.
Little surprise on my rental car after the hockey game. Didn’t notice until I pulled out of the garage. Last year security chased off two guys while were parking. Obviously this problem is just getting worse
We parked there when the mall was closed 10am, yes am, and all the elevators were closed. We had a stroller, end up going upstairs by the freight elevator. After we finally got out of the mall … there’s no way back into the garage! Terrible experience. Avoid this garage unless you want your trip to become an adventure!
