Whatcom Roofing

I had some issues with a solar tube during the heavy rains in December. I had Terry come out and quote the replacement of both of my solar tubes, as I figured it was good preventative maintenance to get them both done at the same time. He showed up toward the end of the day to inspect, when it was pouring with rain and windy. I went up with him, and he took the time to explain what he was seeing and how he would approach the work. About an hour later I had a quote, and was very pleased with the cost. He included a clear statement of work with the quote, and promptly answered any questions I had. The first day there was a break in the weather (again, this is when we had massive flooding around the state), his crew showed up in the morning and were gone by noon. No trash on the ground, and

We are remodeling our kitchen in our 1939 home, and needed a vent to go through the roof from the range hood. Our roof above the kitchen has a steep pitch so we didn't want to do that part ourselves. Terry and Collin came over to see what needed done, and noticed our vent kit was defective; it would have allowed moisture to seep under due to a manufacturing glitch. It had come from a previously opened box at Home Depot; fortunately HD swapped it for a new one. A few days later they installed the vent and it looks great! (In picture, second vent from left.) They were very knowledgeable and made suggestions for future insulation and venting of the attic.

Whatcom Roofing recently installed 3600 square feet of roofing for us. The weather was uncooperative, but the workers were here every day from sun up to after sun down. They did an awesome job! This is the second time Whatcom Roofing did roofing jobs for us. We had them install a metal roof on two buildings at our previous address, and this time they installed a combination of metal and shingles, plus three skylights. A little over a year ago we had Terry come out and do some patch work on our roof to get us by until we could do the whole roof. His communication was incredible, so when it came time to replace the whole roof, there was no doubt that I would be contacting Terry. Insurance got involved due to the wind storms, and Terry worked well with our insurance agent to get the cost near to nothing out of pocket for us. The customer service was absolutely incredible, the constant communication, and also the speed in to getting the job approved/scheduled/completed was professional level. Thank you Terry!

I had a great experience with Whatcom Roofing. Terry was very responsive and got me on the schedule and did a great job. His crew worked really hard in the heat and did a great job with cleanup. They also found a couple of issues with some rot on my 100+ year old house and let me know and just took care of it at a very fair price. Thanks Terry! Greg
