A busy hub to connecting people from different areas
Was fine but the escalator is LONG so if you’re afraid of heights you might want a different stop. Also the enclosed bridge between the garage and the station was kind of creepy and I wouldn’t want to be there alone in the dark.
4.5 stars. I checked in here after not going here for a few years. They are under new ownership now. New to me, at least. The prices for cold beverages, including brew dogs 🍺, is now way more reasonable. The service is also friendlier. To the new owner: Keep it going. I stopped going here years ago because of negative experiences. But I am back now, baby. Full disclosure: I have not tried the laundromat - maybe one day.
Longest escalator in the western hemisphere! Don’t sleep by far the best thing about this station. Neighborhood is a little rough.
Ride from Glenmont to Wheaton on Red line. Take bus to Kensington. Very convenient.
